‘Jsmn’ is short for Jasmine, the writer of this blog. She chose that as the title because apparently, Jasmine and every other permutation of Jasmine’s name, including first and last, is already taken.
Jasmine holds an Associates Degree in Liberal Arts, with an emphasis on English Literature, from Chabot College. And no, she’s not embarrassed that she attended community college.

Above: Jsmn, as she was 5,000 miles, 3 years, and about 20 pounds ago…
Jasmine would like to continue on and complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Creative Writing but as she is neither a rich heiress or particularly tolerant of your typical, 9-5, office job, she has to focus most of her day to finding work that not only pays her reasonably, but also keeps from crushing her soul, and her very will to live. At the very least, Jasmine just wants to make enough money to pay her monthly bills and pay off her credit cards.
Jasmine currently works as a ‘product development associate,’ at least that’s what she applied for and got. Jasmine helps develop and QA online, business educational material for those doing business overseas. She’s hoping that one day, maybe her company will send her to their Paris or Copenhagen offices for ‘work,’ but she’s not holding her breath.
Jasmine considers her writing here as ‘test essays,’ the blog and the Internet being her ‘test ground.’ And, when she’s feeling more confident and ambitious, this blog could also be considered an active, demonstrative, ever-evolving resume.
When she’s not writing, Jasmine is reading, doing something artistic, or playing with her two dogs. Jasmine has two, pure-bred, adult dogs: one is a male, Maltese named ‘Lambchop,’ and the other is a female, shih tzu named ‘Snickie.’ Jasmine looks forward to the day when she can declare her dogs as ‘dependents’ so she can get the tax breaks.
Jasmine has a pitiful Facebook account which she’s nonetheless enthralled by, and if you want her to mark you as a friend, she will (don’t worry – she won’t bother you: she just likes the idea of having Facebook friends in double digits). …Kind of like having a baby born without arms…???
Jasmine lives in the East Bay of the San Francisco Bay Area.
